How to Cancel an Appointment

If you no longer need your appointment or you are no longer able to keep it, please contact us as soon as possible. This will allow us to offer your appointment to someone else.

Alternatively, you can cancel your appointment online using AccuRx or by using the  The NHS App if you are signed up to these services.

Please remember, there may be a shortage of appointments and when you fail to attend your appointment, you may have prevented someone else from being seen in your place. On average about 300 appointments are missed every month.

Cancellations notified less than 30 minutes before the appointment time will be recorded as "did not attend" (DNA) on your medical records.

Repeated failure to attend booked appointments is a significant waste of NHS resources.
